A Typical Day at Cadmore
Our school day runs from 8.45am until 3.15pm, providing a total of 32.5 hours each week. The school gates open at 8.30am, giving children time to settle before registration.
A typical day may look like this:
- 8.30am: School gates open
- 8.45am: Registration and collective worship
- 9.00am: Phonics or guided reading
- 9.45am: English
- 10.45am: Morning break
- 11.00am: Mathematics
- 12.00pm: Lunchtime
- 1.00pm: Foundation-subject learning
- 2.00pm: Continued curriculum learning, enrichment or Forest School
- 3.15pm: End of the school day
This timetable is provided as a guide. Lesson times and subjects vary according to the class, curriculum and activities planned for each day.
All children take part in weekly Forest School sessions, alongside a broad curriculum that includes science, history, geography, art, computing, music, physical education, religious education and PSHE.
