In 2025, our Year 6 cohort was very small, consisting of just six pupils, including two who joined us during the academic year. In a cohort of this size, each pupil represents 17% of the published data, meaning headline attainment figures can fluctuate significantly from year to year.
While 17% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, this figure does not reflect the strong individual progress made. All pupils made good progress from their starting points, including those with additional needs and those new to the school.
This aligns with our March 2024 Ofsted inspection, which judged Cadmore End C of E School to be Good overall and noted that “this school is ambitious for all pupils to do well and achieve their best” and that pupils “work hard in lessons and achieve well, especially in reading and mathematics”.
As a small school with a higher proportion of pupils with SEND, outcomes can vary year to year; however, our focus remains firmly on ensuring every child makes strong progress and is supported to achieve their personal best.
