Pupil Leadership and Responsibility
At Cadmore End, children have opportunities to contribute to school life, represent their peers and care for one another and our environment. These roles help pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a sense of responsibility.
Pupils appointed to leadership roles receive badges at a celebration assembly early in the autumn term.
School Ambassadors
Our School Ambassadors represent Cadmore End and help others feel welcome. They support the Headteacher by showing visitors around the school, sharing their experiences of school life and representing the school at events.
School Council
Our School Council includes two representatives from each class and is supported by a teacher. Members meet regularly to share pupils’ views, discuss ideas for improving school life and contribute to decisions about resources, activities and fundraising. The council gives children a voice and helps them understand how their ideas can make a difference.
School Rangers
Our School Rangers help care for our woodlands and school grounds. Their role includes our eco responsibilities, encouraging everyone to look after the environment through recycling, conserving energy, growing plants and supporting wildlife.
Through practical projects, the Rangers help make our outdoor spaces welcoming places for learning and habitats for wildlife.
House Captains
Year 6 House Captains lead our three school houses. They encourage participation, teamwork and good sportsmanship, help organise their house members for activities and lead them on Sports Day in the summer term.
Play Leaders
Children in Key Stage 2 have opportunities to become Play Leaders on a rotational basis. They help organise playground games and activities at playtime and lunchtime, encouraging children to join in, take turns and play cooperatively.
