Our Ofsted Report
Cadmore End C of E School was inspected on 12 and 13 March 2024 and was judged to be Good in every area:
- Quality of education
- Behaviour and attitudes
- Personal development
- Leadership and management
- Early years provision
Inspectors found that “pupils love coming to this school” and described the warm, caring relationships between pupils and staff. They recognised that children feel safe, behave well and are guided by our values of love, honesty, respect, faith, courage and empathy.
The report celebrates our ambition for every child. Inspectors found that pupils achieve particularly well in reading and mathematics, children become fluent readers quickly, and our Early Years provision gives children an excellent start to their education.
Our inclusive approach was also recognised. Inspectors found that pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified and assessed well, that teaching is adapted effectively, and that pupils with SEND progress well through the curriculum.
Other strengths highlighted in the report include:
- Our carefully planned curriculum, successfully adapted for mixed-age classes
- Our extensive outdoor learning provision
- Leadership opportunities that develop pupils’ confidence and resilience
- Good behaviour and positive attitudes towards learning
- Effective safeguarding arrangements
- Our central place within the community and commitment to helping every family feel included
