OFSTED 2024: GOOD in all areas! “There is a really strong, inclusive culture in this school that promotes equality for all, and that is really modelled through all staff and through the leadership, because all children are welcome here and the school does everything they can to care, nurture and educate.” (OFSTED 24)

OFSTED Report
March 2024

We are proud that our most recent inspection by Ofsted (March 2024) judged our school to be Good in all areas, including Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Early Years Provision.

Inspectors recognised that “pupils love coming to this school” and highlighted the “warm and caring relationships” between staff and pupils, which help children feel safe, valued and listened to. Ofsted noted that we are “ambitious for all pupils to do well and achieve their best” and that pupils “work hard in lessons and achieve well, especially in reading and mathematics.”

Our early years provision was praised for giving children an “excellent start”, with a carefully designed environment that supports rapid development of communication, language and early reading skills. Inspectors also recognised the strong support provided for pupils with SEND, noting that staff identify needs well and ensure pupils progress successfully through the curriculum.

Behaviour across the school was described as good, with clear expectations and pupils showing positive attitudes to learning. Inspectors also commented on our rich wider opportunities — from leadership roles to forest school experiences — and the strong sense of community that sits at the heart of our school.

We are delighted that Ofsted recognised what we see every day: a nurturing, ambitious and community-focused school where children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
