Internet safety is all about staying safe online and being aware of any potential risks we might face, which include malware, scams, and cyberbullying. Children accessing the internet for the first time may be unaware of these risks, which makes teaching internet safety for kids very important.

Facebook / Bebo / Intstagram - Many of these sites have a minimum age limit of 13, so our pupils should NOT be using them.
Encourage your children to use a computer in a shared area - Talk to your child about what they are doing online so that you can all share in the wonderful sites that are available online together.
We have e-safety posters on display in our classrooms. Why not put one up next to the computer at home and talk about it with your children?
These posters come from the Think U Know site at; http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/
- containing internet safety advice for those aged from 5 to 16, along with parents and teachers, this site is produced by CEOP (the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre).
