Curriculum

Teaching and learning is at the heart of school life. It is the means by which we offer, and put into practice, a curriculum which is broad and balanced, meeting the requirements of the National Curriculum, Religious Education and Collective Worship.

The National Curriculum follows on from the EYFS Curriculum and embraces a wide range of subjects.

Core subjects:

English; Mathematics; Science; and Computing.

Foundation subjects:
Religious Education; History; Geography; Art; Music; Design and Technology; Physical Education; and Personal, Social, Health & Citizenship Education.
Our Curriculum

We have introduced an integrated curriculum with six exciting starting points in each class spread over a two year rolling programme. As each class has two year groups this ensures continuity and progression.

From September 2017 we have launched our new topics which incorporate the 2014 curriculum. From this we have explored our curriculum drivers and mapped an exciting and challenging curriculum.
